COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M Equestrian senior Kaci Fisher was named the NCEA Shorty's Horsemanship Rider of the Month, the association announced Wednesday.

Fisher leads the Aggie Horsemanship team with eleven wins on the season. The Abilene, Texas, native went 3-1 during March, with an average score of 74.9. Fisher led the Horsemanship squad to two victories over No. 9 TCU (4-1) and No. 4 Auburn (3-2).

At the SEC Championships, Fisher tallied her fifth MOP of the season after her 155-154 victory over Auburn's Kara Kaufmann. With the honor, Fisher is tied for the second most MOPs for a season in program history, and is the first Aggie to earn five MOP honors in a season since Carey Nowacek in 2011-12.

The Aggies conclude their season April 13-15 as they travel to Waco for the NCEA Championships.
