Aggies Host Military Appreciation Day on Sunday

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M Baseball, in conjunction with the TAMU Student Veteran Association, the TAMU Veteran Resource and Support Center and MSC Fish will host Military Appreciation Day on Sunday, April 9 as part of the Aggies' series finale against the Auburn Tigers. Game time is slated for 1:02 pm.

Game time is slated for 1:02 pm.
 
The first 150 fans will receive A&M Patriotic Hats.

Prior to the game the TAMU Student Veteran Association, the TAMU Veteran Resource and Support Center and VIP Extreme Tailgating will be hosting a tailgate for veterans and their families in lot 100E (the southeastern lot by Reed Arena). The tailgate, which begins at 9 am, will feature Layne's Chicken provided by Scott Gee from VIP Extreme Tailgating in College Station. All active duty military and veterans are welcome.

Active duty military and veterans are able to participate in a pregame salute. Throughout the game, each branch of the military will be honored with the playing of their respective service song. Patriotic music will be played throughout the game.

The tailgate will continue following the game until 5 pm.

Active duty, reserves, retired military will receive 2 complimentary tickets. Additional tickets for the families of servicemen and women of the United States Military, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force are eligible for discounted tickets. To get your tickets, click here. Â
