COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M volleyball team closes out its spring competition slate Saturday at the seventh annual F.A.S.T. Collegiate Invitational at the F.A.S.T. Complex in Houston.

The Aggies will play two matches, taking on UT Arlington at 9 a.m. and Stephen F. Austin at 11 a.m. on Court 3.

All matches will be best 2-out-of-3 sets.

Other teams competing in the one-day tournament are Baylor, Houston, LSU, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, McNeese State, Northwestern State, Oklahoma, Rice, Sam Houston State, Texas, Texas-San Antonio, Texas Southern and Texas State.

Texas A&M head coach Laurie Corbelli, who is entering her 25th season at the helm of the Aggies, returns 13 letterwinners from last year's team that went 21-9 and advanced to the NCAA tournament for a sixth consecutive year. She also returns one redshirt freshman.

The Aggies opened their spring season last weekend, defeating TCU, 20-25, 25-22, 15-11 and then falling to host Rice, 24-26, 25-16, 15-12 at Tudor Fieldhouse in Houston.

UTA is under the direction of J.T. Wenger, who was named the Mavericks' head coach in January. He replaces Diane Seymour who retired after coaching the Mavericks from 2004-16. UTA went 17-16 overall, including 10-6 in the Sun Belt Conference last season.

SFA is coached by Debbie Humphreys, who is entering her 30th season as head coach of the Ladyjacks. She returns 14 players from last year's team that went 20-11, including 12-4 in the Southland Conference.
