COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The 22nd-ranked Texas A&M women's tennis team closes out the home portion of its regular season schedule on Sunday with a doubleheader against No. 11 Kentucky at 11 a.m. and Prairie View A&M at 4 p.m. at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center.

All fans with a valid Texas A&M student ID will be admitted free.

The Aggies are 11-11 overall and 3-7 in Southeastern Conference matches after falling at home to No. 7 Vanderbilt, 4-2, on Friday. Kentucky dropped to 15-4 and 7-3 in conference play after letting a 3-1 lead slip away in a 4-3 loss at No. 21 LSU on Friday. The loss snapped the Wildcats' three-match win streak.

Prairie View is 6-19 entering a match against Seminole State in Dallas on Saturday.

Kentucky holds an 11-4 lead in the all-time series against the Aggies, although A&M holds a 3-1 advantage in SEC regular season matches only. Last year, Kentucky snapped a three-match losing skid against the Aggies, defeating A&M, 6-1, in Lexington.

Texas A&M and Prairie View A&M will be meeting for the first time.

Senior Rachel Pierson, ranked a team-high 38th in the ITA national singles rankings, leads the Aggies in total wins with a 21-11 overall record. She is coming off the highest ranked win of her career after defeating Vanderbilt's fourth-ranked Astra Sharma, 6-3, 6-2, on Friday.

Senior Rutuja Bhosale is ranked 107th and is tied with Pierson for the team lead in wins in dual matches only with an 11-8 mark.

Pierson and Bhosale are ranked an all-time high No. 6 in doubles and have won six of their last seven matches. The pair is 12-5 at the No. 1 line, including 6-2 in SEC matches only, and is 23-7 overall.

Kentucky boasts the No. 2 doubles team in the nation in Mami Adachi and Aldila Sutjiadi. Sutjiadi is No. 17 in singles.

The Aggies conclude the regular season next week at No. 24 Tennessee and No. 2 Georgia, Friday and Sunday, respectively.
