COLLEGE STATION – A pair of singles players and a doubles team will represent No. 11 Texas A&M at the 2017 NCAA Men's Tennis Singles and Doubles Championships, the NCAA announced Wednesday afternoon. Arthur Rinderknech was named to both the singles and doubles field, playing alongside AJ Catanzariti, while Jordi Arconada will represent the Aggies in the singles bracket.

The singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 24-29 at the Dan Magill Complex in Athens, Georgia, following the conclusion of the team championship, which runs from May 18-23. The University of Georgia will serve as host for the 2017 NCAA Tennis Championships.

Rinderknech will make his second straight appearance in the NCAA singles and doubles field after earning All-SEC honors for the third straight season. The right-hander paced the Aggies with a 24-8 singles record, including a 15-5 record in dual matches. Currently ranked as the nation's No. 6 singles player, Rinderknech was named to the SEC All-Tournament team for the third consecutive season, helping the Aggies advance to the semifinals for the fifth straight year. The Paris, France native earned the No. 6 seed in the singles bracket, confirming Rinderknech's second straight All-American honors in singles play.

Rinderknech partnered with classmate, AJ Catanzariti, to earn a season-high No. 20 ranking in the latest ITA doubles poll after compiling a 6-2 mark over the past six weeks. The junior duo are currently one of the hottest doubles teams in the country, winning five straight matches and going a perfect 6-0 against ranked pairs including wins over then No. 2 Robert Loeb and Jan Zeilinski of Georgia and No. 9 Trevor Foshey and Niclaus Braun of Mississippi State.

The Texas A&M duo earned a national seed in the upcoming doubles tournament to earn them All-America honors. Rinderknech earned his second straight All-American honor in doubles after advancing to the NCAA Doubles Championship final alongside Jackson Withrow last season, while the 2017 honor is the first in Catanzariti's career.

Arconada will make his first appearance in the NCAA Singles Championship field. The feisty junior was named a member of the All-SEC Second Team, after taking the SEC by storm, going a perfect 10-0 in league regular season matches after winning a team-high 18 matches in a row. The Buenos Aires, Argentina native went a perfect 3-0 against members of the All-SEC First and Second team this year. The right-hander steadily climbed the ITA Singles rankings, earning a career-high No. 42 following the conclusion of the regular season.

The junior picked up a career-best six wins against ranked opponents including wins over then-No. 26 Jose Salazar of Arkansas and No. 32 Wayne Montgomery of Georgia, both are members of the 2017 All-SEC First Team. Arconada improved his dual win totals each season in Aggieland, earning 10 victories as a freshman, 14 as a sophomore and 18 as a junior.

The Mitchell Tennis Center will play host to the 2017 NCAA Men's Tennis Championship first round matches slated for Friday, May 12. The Maroon and White will take on Buffalo (14-5) in the NCAA opening round, while No. 21 Oregon (18-6) and No. 33 Memphis (15-8) will compete in the other first round contest.
