Texas A&M is coming off their 12th straight NCAA Tournament Appearance in 2016-17, advancing to the Second Round after a Tournament-record 21-point comeback against Penn. The Aggies return 75 percent of their scoring, including All-SEC picks Khaalia Hillsman and Danni Williams. Leading rebounder Anriel Howard returns for her junior season, along with Jasmine Lumpkin, who started 19 games in 2016-17.

The Aggies welcome the No. 9 recruiting class in the nation to campus in 2017-18, led by McDonald's All-American Chennedy Carter. N'dea Jones, Kayla Wells, Emer Nichols and Jada Walton round out the Aggies' recruiting class.

Texas A&M is slated to host Houston on Nov. 10 to open the season in the Preseason WNIT. West Virginia pays a visit to Reed Arena in 2017-18 as a part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge, with dates, times and opponents for the remainder of the season to be released in the coming weeks.

Texas A&M has also announced plans to enhance the experience at Reed Arena for the upcoming season by partnering with Daktronics to bring the first true 1080 HD video displays in a college basketball venue with new centerhung videoboards. The two true HD displays are part of a four-display centerhung configuration and accompanied by a large end wall video display as well as a 360-degree ribbon display circling the arena's interior.
