Jaci Marley Set to Compete at NRHA Collegiate Challenge

Texas A&M equestrian senior Jaci Marley competes at the National Reining Horse Association Collegiate Challenge at 8 a.m. CT on Friday at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds.
 
Marley is one of four riders selected by the NRHA to compete at the annual competition, joining Georgia's Julia Spreng and Kendall Harper and SMU's Holly Lansidel. Completing the field are the NCEA Reining First Team All-Americans and riders from the IHSA Western National Championship.
 
The winner of the Collegiate Reining Championship receives the Morrison Bronze trophy, which is donated by the NRHA.
 
The Plainview, Texas, native closed out the 2016-17 season with seven wins including a 130-0 victory against Oklahoma State's Hannah Mitchell at the NCEA Championship and a 144.5-143 win over South Carolina's Jordan Scott at the SEC Championship.
