All-Academic individual honors earned by 13 Aggies for 2017 season

NEW ORLEANS – A total of 13 members of the Texas A&M track and field team earned individual All-Academic distinction from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

NEW ORLEANS – A total of 13 members of the Texas A&M track and field team earned individual All-Academic distinction from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
 
Members of the Aggie women's team receiving the All-Academic accolade included Serena Brown, Kristen Clark, Kara Erickson, Emily Gunderson, Lauren Lawless, Audrey Malone, Shelby Poncik, Jaevin Reed, Sara Kathryn Stevens, Madalaine Stulce, Carissa van Beek, and Katie Willard. Jeff Bartlett was the lone member of the Texas A&M men's team to receive the honor.
 
To qualify for the honor, a student-athlete needs a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and have meet certain athletic standards either during the indoor or outdoor track and field season. Overall, there were 516 men and 752 women who earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors during the 2016-17 track and field seasons.
