Texas A&M Equestrian To Hold Open Tryouts

COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M Equestrian team will hold an informational meeting on open tryouts Tuesday, Sept. 5, at 5 p.m. at the Thomas G. Hildebrand DVM '56 Equine Complex. Those wishing to join the 12-time national champions for the 2017-18 season must be in attendance.

COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M Equestrian team will hold an informational meeting on open tryouts Tuesday, Sept. 5, at 5 p.m. at the Thomas G. Hildebrand DVM '56 Equine Complex. Those wishing to join the 12-time national champions for the 2017-18 season must be in attendance.
 
Attendees must be female students, enrolled in at least 12 hours at Texas A&M with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 and need to have advanced training in Horsemanship, Reining, Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat, or Hunter Seat Equitation over Fences.
 
Those wishing to tryout should also bring a copy of both the front and back sides of her medical insurance card, and the results of a sickle-cell blood test and physical. No riding will occur at the informational meeting and all tryouts will be scheduled for a later date.
 
The Aggies will show in their annual Maroon & White Scrimmage on Sept. 15, before beginning the 2017-18 campaign on the road against Fresno State on Friday, Sept. 22.
