Six Texas A&M Volleyball Matches to be Televised on SEC Network, ESPNU

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M is slated to have six of its volleyball matches nationally televised on either SEC Network or ESPNU, the Southeastern Conference announced today while revealing the league's volleyball and soccer broadcast schedules for the upcoming season.
 
In addition, all Texas A&M conference matches as well as all non-conference home matches will be available to SEC Network subscribers digitally on mobile devices, tablets, PCs and connect-TVs on SEC Network + via the WatchESPN app and SECNetwork.com through authenticated access from AT&T U-verse, Charter, Comcast, Cox, DIRECTV, DISH, Google Fiber, SuddenLink, Verizon FiOS and members of the NCTC, NRTC and NTTC.
 
A total of 42 matches involving SEC volleyball teams will be broadcast as part of the league's SEC Network/ESPNU package, including matches on both networks every Wednesday and matchups on SEC Network every Friday.
 
The Aggies first take the national stage on Wednesday, Sept. 13 as their match against in-state rival and preseason No. 1-ranked Texas will be broadcast live from Reed Arena on SEC Network starting at 7 p.m. Texas A&M's matches against defending SEC co-champions Missouri (Sept. 24) and Florida (Oct. 4) will be shown on SEC Network and ESPNU, respectively, and the Aggies' match at Kentucky on Oct. 11 will be aired on SEC Network.
 
Other matches slated for a national television audience are Texas A&M at Ole Miss on Nov. 12 on SEC Network and Florida at Texas A&M on Nov. 15 on ESPNU.
 
The Aggies officially reported to campus on Monday and began practicing on Tuesday. They will play an exhibition match at TCU on Saturday, August 19 before opening the regular season at home against Sam Houston State on August 25.
