COLLEGE STATION, Texas— A total of 20 Texas A&M student-athletes are scheduled to earn degrees this summer semester as Commencement exercises are set to take place at Reed Arena on Friday, Aug. 11.
"I am extremely proud of these students for earning a degree from our outstanding university while also competing at the highest level," Director of Athletics Scott Woodward said. "These student-athletes have put in a lot of time, effort and dedication to reach this goal. Many of these student-athletes have not only excelled on the playing fields and in the classrooms, but also have made a positive impact in our community. They are excellent role models and outstanding representatives of Texas A&M and Aggies everywhere."
A total of 133 Texas A&M student-athletes have graduated in the 2016-17 school year (Dec. 2016, May 2017, Aug. 2017).
