Four Aggies to Compete at U.S. Amateur Championship

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The Texas A&M men's golf program will be well-represented this week as a quartet of Aggies are scheduled to take their swings at the 117^th United States Amateur Championship.
 
Current Aggie golfers Cameron Champ and Kavan Eubanks as well as incoming freshman Walker Lee and recent graduate Adrià Arnaus will compete in the prestigious event set to take place at both the championship venue of Riviera Country Club (7,272 yards/Par 70) in Pacific Palisades, Calif., and Bel-Air Country Club (6,722 yards/Par 70) in Los Angeles, Calif.
 
The field features a total of 312 golfers who will compete in two rounds of stoke play on Monday and Tuesday before the field is culled to 64 competitors that will face off in match play at Riviera Country Club. Match play begins on Wednesday before a championship match of 36 holes on Sunday will determine a champion.
