Texas A&M’s Sapianchai competes in Southeast Asian Games

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia --- Texas A&M freshman swimmer Golf Sapianchai will compete in the 29th Southeast Asian games Aug. 21-26 at the Bukit Jahil National Aquatic Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia --- Texas A&M freshman swimmer Golf Sapianchai will compete in the 29th Southeast Asian games Aug. 21-26 at the Bukit Jahil National Aquatic Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Sapianchai, from Samut Prakan, Thailand, will represent Thailand in the prestigious championship event. She will compete in the 100 freestyle and the 100 butterfly, as well as Thailand's 400 and 800 free relays. Countries competing at the Southeast Asian Games are Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam and Malaysia.
