TAIPEI, Taiwan – Texas A&M sophomore Tyler Henschel advanced through two rounds of competition to reach Sunday's men's platform dive final at the World University Games.
Henschel, from Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada and representing Canada, posted a score of 394.00 in the prelims and 408.60 in the semifinals to earn the No. 5 seed in tomorrow's final. Henschel is already guaranteed of his best finish at WUGs after he placed 15th (356.55 points) in the three-meter dive earlier in the meet.
