Women’s Golf Starts 2017-18 Season At The Lady Maxwell

Texas A&M women's golf team tees off for the first time in the 2017-18 season at The Lady Maxwell at Dornick Hills Country Club in Ardmore, Okla., starting Friday for a 3-day, 54-hole tournament.

Texas A&M women's golf team tees off for the first time in the 2017-18 season at The Lady Maxwell at Dornick Hills Country Club in Ardmore, Okla., starting Friday for a 3-day, 54-hole tournament.
 
The Aggies are joined in the tournament by hosts Oral Roberts, Incarnate Word, Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin and Wichita State.
 
All eight players on the Aggie roster are playing in this tournament. Maddie Szeryk, who set the Texas A&M single-season stroke average record at 71.24 in 2016-17, returns for her senior year. Courtney Dow, a SEC All-Freshman selection in 2017 returns, along with Chloe Velasco. True freshmen Elizabeth Caldarelli, Morgan Lay, Amber Park and Ariana Saenz, along with redshirt freshman Mackenzie Matthews, all are set to make their Texas A&M debuts.
 
The Aggies finished last season ranked No. 24 in the Golfstat rankings, and are looking to make their 18th straight appearance in the NCAA Regionals this season.
