The Texas A&M women's swimming team is well-represented on the 2017-18 USA Swimming national team with five current, future or past Aggie standouts on the roster.
Leading the way was senior Bethany Galat, from Mishawaka, Ind., who made the team in the 100 and 200 breaststroke and the 200 IM. Senior Lisa Bratton, from Richland, Wash., earned her spot in the 200 backstroke and freshman Joy Field, from Magnolia, Texas, made it in the 800 freestyle.
2017 senior Sarah Gibson, from San Antonio, Texas, made it in two events – the 100 and 200 butterfly, while 2014 senior Breeja Larson, from Mesa, Ariz., qualified in the 100 breaststroke.
