Women’s Basketball Picked To Finish Fifth By SEC Media

Birmingham, Ala. – Texas A&M was picked to finish fifth in the Southeastern Conference women's basketball standings, as voted on by a select panel of both SEC and national media members.

Birmingham, Ala. – Texas A&M was picked to finish fifth in the Southeastern Conference women's basketball standings, as voted on by a select panel of both SEC and national media members.
 
South Carolina tops the order of finish, with Mississippi State, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Kentucky and LSU rounding out the top half the league. Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Florida, Ole Miss and Arkansas round out the bottom half.
 
Texas A&M is coming off their 12th straight NCAA Tournament Appearance in 2016-17, advancing to the Second Round after a Tournament-record 21-point comeback against Penn. The Aggies return three starters and 75 percent of their scoring from last season's squad, and welcome in the No. 8 recruiting class in the nation.
