COLLEGE STATION, Texas –Junior Kevin Lam and Senior Jordi Arconada of the Texas A&M men's tennis team fell 6-4, 6-2 to Jackson Cobb and Alexander Sendegeya of Texas Tech in the 2017 Texas ITA Regional Championships doubles final Monday morning at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center.
Arconada and Lam bested Rodrigo Banzer and Leonardo Telles of Texas, 4-6, 6-4, 16-14 Sunday afternoon to advance to the regional championship against Cobb and Sendegeya. The Maroon & White duo attempted to claw back from an early break in each set, but the Red Raider pair were able to hold on for the straight set win. Arconada and Lam finished the weekend 4-1 with wins over duos from Rice, UTRGV, Baylor and Texas.
