COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 14 Texas A&M Aggies look to continue their hot streak as the travel to Starkville for the regular-season finale against the Mississippi State Bulldogs Thursday night at 7:05 p.m.
The Aggies enter action on a nine-match win streak and they are in second place in the SEC Standings, one point behind the South Carolina Gamecocks. There are multiple scenarios that can result in the Aggies earning a share of their third SEC regular-season crown. A Texas A&M win coupled with either a loss or draw by South Carolina in their Thursday night match at Florida would give the Aggies an outright title. A Texas A&M draw coupled by South Carolina would give the Maroon & White a share of the title.

The Aggies current eight-match conference win streak equals their SEC run, set in 2013. Texas A&M also won eight consecutive matches as a member of the Big 12 in 2010. The school record for a conference win streak is 14 games in Big 12 action between Oct. 4, 1996 and Oct. 10, 1997. A&M also boasts a 12-match Big 12 win streak between Oct. 21, 2005 and Oct. 22, 2006, a nine-match Big 12 win streak between Oct. 11, 1998 and Aug. 29, 1999 and an eight-match Big 12 win streak from Oct. 19, 2001 and Oct. 6, 2002.
Texas A&M has been dominant in the second half and overtime of matches, outscoring opponents 20-6 after halftime. The margin includes 18-6 in the second half and 2-0 in overtime periods.

This year A&M has posted one-goal wins over Pepperdine (1-0, ot), Florida (2-1), Arkansas (2-1), Utah Valley (1-0), Georgia (2-1, 2ot), Ole Miss (1-0), LSU (1-0) and Vanderbilt (2-1). They played Oklahoma State to a 2-2 draw and suffered a 1-0 loss at Auburn. Last season the Maroon & White didn't fare as well in the same scenario, going 8-5-2 (.600).
