COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 19 Texas A&M Aggies look for their sixth consecutive victory when they travel to Athens Sunday for a match against the Georgia Bulldogs. First kick from Turner Soccer Complex is slated for 4:05 p.m.
Sunday's match airs on the SEC Network with Jonathan Yardley providing the play-by-play and Jill Loyden offering the color analysis. Texas A&M's current five-match win streak has featured five different starting lineups as the Maroon & White are soldiering through a few injuries. The streak includes shutouts in the last two matches, a 1-0 blanking of Utah Valley and a 2-0 triumph over Alabama.
The Aggies enter action in third place in the SEC standings with 12 points (4-1-0). They trail first-place South Carolina (15 pts - 5-0-0) and Vanderbilt (13 pts - 4-0-1). The Aggies boast back-to-back SEC Offensive Player of the Week honorees with Cienna Arrieta earning the accolade two weeks ago and Watt picking it up on Monday.
Watt is Texas A&M's leading scorer with 12 points on five goals and two assists. Haley Pounds has added 11 points on five goals and one assist. Arrieta has 10 points with three goals and four assists. Boasting a diverse attack, 11 different Aggies have scored goals this season.
Cosette Morché has logged all 1,104 minutes in goal for Texas A&M with a 0.73 goals-against average and five shutouts.
The Aggies own a 5-1 edge in the all-time series. Most of the matches have been tightly contest with five of the six decided by one goal, including Texas A&M's 1-0 victory last year on Sarah Shaw's goal in the 26th minute.
The Bulldogs enter play with a 4-8-1 mark and they're the SEC's cellar dwellers with an 0-5-0 record in league play.
