COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M men's basketball program has announced the signing of highly-regarded guard Antwann Jones from Orlando, Fla.
"We're excited to add Antwann to our program," Texas A&M head coach Billy Kennedy said. "He is a versatile, big guard who can help us in many ways as well as another talented athlete who will make our team better."

A member of ESPN's elite Top 100 list, Jones is regarded as a consensus four-star prospect, who is rated as the sixth-best prospect in the state of Florida by ESPN as well as the 45th overall prospect nationally. Additionally, he is regarded as the 71st recruit nationally by 247 Sports

A 6-foot-6 shooting guard, Jones in entering his final season at Orlando's Oak Ridge High School playing for head coach Steve Reece. On the Nike EYBL circuit, Jones competed with E1T1 United where he produced 10.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, in 16 games during the summer of 2017.

Regarded among the top incoming players for the class of 2018, Jones received invitations to the Pangos All-American Camp as well as the NBPA Top 100 Camp, both reserved for elite prep prospects. Additionally, he participated in the Nike Skills Academy.

He chose Texas A&M over Georgetown, Georgia, LSU, Memphis, Oklahoma State, SMU and Xavier among others.
