COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M equestrian's Madison Bohman and Brianna Peddicord were named NCEA and SEC Riders of the Month, it was announced Thursday.

Bohman was named the rider of the month in Reining, while Peddicord earned Equitation on the Flat distinctions. Both riders compiled a 3-0 record in October with two Most Outstanding Player awards.

Bohman opened October with a 72-71 victory against Kyndall Harper at No. 2 Georgia, earning MOP honors and followed with a 67.5-0 against Delaware State's Shelbe Jarrett also earning MOP honors. The Morgan, Utah, native topped TCU's Anna Adams, 68.5-67, to close out the month.

Peddicord notched her first career MOP honor with a 67-58 triumph over Georgia's Isabelle Heckler. Against Delaware State, the Wamego, Kan., native was named MOP following an 89-62 victory against Eva Epstein. Peddicord moved to 4-1 on the season with a 75-62 win over TCU's Raegen Rast.

The award marks the fourth and fifth NCEA honor for the Aggies this season as Rebekah Chenelle (Fences & Flat) and Avery Ellis (Horsemanship) were September Riders of the Month. Last month, Chenelle was named the SEC's Fences Rider of the Month and Ellis was awarded the Horsemanship Rider of the Month.

The Aggies return to action Friday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. with a matchup against No. 3 Auburn at the Hildebrand Equine Complex.
