COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS – After an 18-2-2 campaign, posting their best winning percentage (.864) in program history, the Texas A&M Aggies had three players earn United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region honors, the organization, formerly known as the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, announced Tuesday.

Senior Mikaela Harvey and sophomore Ally Watt were both named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region First Team while senior Stephanie Malherbe earned recognition on the third team.

For Harvey, this marks her second year picking up all-region recognition after previously earning All-South Region First Team accolades as a sophomore. She started 21 of the 22 matches for the Aggies in 2017, logging 11 points on four goals and three assists. Harvey played in 89 matches during her career, including 75 starts, and she recorded 40 points on 13 goals and 14 assists. She earned the SEC Tournament Most Valuable Player Award and All-SEC First Team distinction for her 2017 performance. Harvey also earned NSCAA All-America Second Team accolades in 2015.

Watt, the Aggies' leading scorer in 2017, started 20 of 22 matches, notching a team-high 24 points on 11 goals and two assists. She picked up All-SEC First Team and All-SEC Tournament honors this season. For her career, Watt has played in 48 matches with 37 starts, logging 38 points with 18 goals and two assists.

Starting in all 22 matches, Malherbe led the Aggies in minutes for a field player, logging 2,013 minutes. The senior helped the Aggies win 14 games in a row, a school record, and was part of a defense that didn't allow a multi-goal game throughout SEC play.

The Aggies took home their third SEC Tournament title, earning their 23rd consecutive bid to the NCAA Championship to become one of five teams to make it to every NCAA tournament since 1995. With a first round win over Lamar, the Maroon and White advanced to the second round for the 20th straight season. The Aggies finished with an .864 winning percentage, topping the .857 mark (18-3) from 1997 and the .852 tally (22-3-2) from 2014.
