COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher announced a ninth early signee with the addition of offensive lineman Barton Clement of Fort Bend Marshall High School in Missouri City, Texas on Friday. Â

Clement helped lead Marshall to a 10-3 record and a deep run in the Class 5A Division II state playoffs that ended with a narrow 49-47 loss to College Station High School in the quarterfinals. The 6-foot-3, 270-pounder was rated a four-star prospect by Rivals.com and ESPN and chose the Aggies over Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio State and Michigan among others.
