Ten Sign Early with Aggie Football

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher announced a signing class of 10 football standouts during the Early Signing Period on Saturday and the group will join the Aggies for the 2018 season. 
 
"What I was happy about is that we were able to seal up the guys we had and we think they are outstanding players," Fisher said. "The big thing to remember is this is halftime. We're going into the second half and making adjustments. I think the key was that there were four or five guys that did not sign with other schools that were supposed to. I think this will allow us to go in there and recruit them. That was one of our main goals. Even though we knew we couldn't get them signed early, we wanted to have the opportunity to tell them what Texas A&M is all about and what our vision was about – 'Hey, before you (sign early) take a look down here in College Station.' That was accomplished, so I'm very excited about what the second half is going to bring."
