
Men’s Golf Reveals 2017-18 Schedule

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — The Texas A&M men's golf team has unveiled its 2017-18 schedule with the Aggies set to tee off competition in early September.
The new season will get underway September 10-12 when the Aggies travel to Wisconsin for the Badger Invitational. The team will play another Midwest event as it hits the road to Olympia Fields, Ill., where they will compete in the Olympia Fields Country Club Fighting Illini Invitational for the fourth consecutive year. Texas A&M makes its second trek to Wisconsin for the Erin Hills Intercollegiate running Oct. 1-3 from the site of the 2017 U.S. Open.
Texas A&M's final event of the fall semester will see the team compete in the marquee event of the fall season at the U.S. Collegiate Championship which takes place at the Golf Club of Georgia in Alpharetta, Ga., Oct. 20-22.
Following the winter break, the Aggies return to action by heading west to compete in the Arizona Intercollegiate which is set to play on Tucson's Sewailo Golf Club, Jan. 29-30. Just a few weeks later, the Aggies will travel further west for their 15th consecutive appearance in the John A. Burn's Invitational, Feb. 15-17, at Wailua Golf Course from the Hawaiian island of Kauai.
On Feb. 26-27, the Aggies venture east across the Sabine River to Lafayette where they will take part in the Louisiana Classics on Oakbourne Country Club.
The Aggies head to the Atlantic shore for their final two road events of the regular season starting on March 10-11 with the General Hackler Championship from Dunes Golf & Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, S. C. before hitting the links at the Florida Invitational from the Floridian Resort and Country Club in Stuart, Fla., March 18-20.
On April 7-8, Texas A&M will host its first event of the season when the Aggies welcome some of collegiate golf's top teams for a regular season finale at Traditions Club during the 2018 Aggie Invitational.
The SEC Championship will again be held at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Ga., on April 26-29 where the Aggies will look to top their back-to-back runner-up finishes.
For the first time since 2010, Traditions Golf Club will play host to the NCAA Regional Championship which will tee off on May 14 and wrap up on May 16.
The 2018 national champion will be crowned during the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Okla., May 25-30.
