Men's head coach Jay Holmes said: "Whichever team wants it the most is going to come out on top. Both teams are capable and both teams have real strengths, so it's going to be a great college dual meet. Missouri has a bunch of kids from the state of Texas, so I think they'll be fired up to swim in their home state. They traditionally have a very good group of divers, but I would put ours up against anybody's. I expect a highly competitive dual meet and the key, as always, will be finding a way to get our hands to the wall first."

Women's head coach Steve Bultman said: "This is definitely a special group of seniors. It's hard to believe they've been here four years already. The expression 'time flies' is really true. They've done a lot of great things here and several of them have their names on our record board. It's definitely nice to be back in competition after the break. Missouri is a very strong team and they will be good competition for us."
