- The Aggie women's team has compiled a 5-1 dual meet record, while the Mustangs are still seeking their first win of 2017-18 at 0-6. The Aggies are ranked No. 1 in the most recent edition of the CSCAA Top 25, while SMU is unranked.
NOTABLES…
- The two teams are familiar with each other since SMU competed in Texas A&M's Art Adamson Invitational last fall. The Aggies won the team title with 1,273.5 points while SMU placed ninth with 86.5 points.
- The Aggies are coming off a dominant win over SEC foe Missouri last Saturday at the Student Recreation Natatorium on the Texas A&M campus. Texas A&M swept all 14 races against the Tigers on the way to a 169-118 win.
- SMU owns the advantage in the long rivalry between the two schools with 23-13 records against the Aggies, but Texas A&M has won 11 straight meetings against the Ponies. Aggie head coach Steve Bultman has an 11-6 record against SMU.
