Birmingham, Ala. – Texas A&M swimmer Jing Quah was named Southeastern Conference Female Freshman of the Week on Tuesday for her strong performance in the top-ranked Aggies' win over Missouri last weekend.

- The freshman from Singapore swept the 100- and 200-yard butterfly races against the Tigers and was a part of the Aggies' winning 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay.
- Quah won the 100 fly in a time of 54.05 and the 200 fly in 1:57.98, which were both NCAA "B" qualifying cuts.
- On the SEC best times chart, Quah ranks No. 5 in the 200 fly (1:55.46) and No. 10 in the 100 fly (52.83).
