COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The ninth-ranked Texas A&M men's swimming and diving team will close out its regular season with a 7 p.m. dual meet against longtime rival SMU at the Student Recreation Natatorium on the Texas A&M campus.

It will be Senior Night for the Aggies and the eight-member Senior Class of 2018 will be honored prior to the competition. Being honored will be: Brock Bonetti (Bakersfield, Calif.), Mauro Castillo (Zacatecas, Mexico), Tyler Henschel (Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada), Cameron Kerr (League City, Texas), Clay McAnany (San Antonio, Texas), Justin Morey (Houston, Texas), Duncan Mulleady (Flower Mound, Texas), and Jonathan Tybur (The Woodlands, Texas)

"Another thing I've appreciated about this class is that they've shared our vision," Aggie head coach Jay Holmes told the Bryan-College Station Eagle. "Each team has a choice. They may think they have a vision or many give it just words, but I do think this class kind of shared our vision, that this is something we really did want to do, that we wanted to represent A&M at the highest level."

Notables
  • With the win, the 2018 Senior Class would finish their careers with a 4-0 record against the Mustangs. Only four only senior classes have posted perfect 4-0 records against SMU in school history. A victory would also make the 2018 seniors just the third class to sweep SMU and LSU all four years.
  • The Aggies have won the last five meetings against SMU and seven of the last 10 encounters.
  • Head coach Jay Holmes is 8-5 against SMU in his previous 13 seasons as Texas A&M head coach.

Record / Ranking
Texas A&M: 6-1 / No. 9 in CSCAA Top 25 poll
