"Any team would love to have Brittany, Emily and Grace in their lineup," Guerrieri said. "As much as what they do in front of thousands of fans at Ellis Field on game night, they are Texas A&M's captains because of what they do when people aren't watching. Each of these young women led from the front as outstanding students, citizens, athletes and teammates.

"I'm proud of the amazing leaders who've developed in the Aggie Soccer family over the years. Our past captains have long been some of the most incredible of the many legends of this program of champions."

Texas A&M wrapped up the 2017 season with a program-best record of 18-2-2 and an SEC Championship. The Maroon & White earned a bid to their 23rd consecutive NCAA Championship and advanced to the second round of the tournament for the 20th straight season.
