16 Aggies qualify for NCAA Indoor Championships

COLLEGE STATION – Entries announced for the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, which will be hosted by Texas A&M on March 9-10, include 16 Aggies among 15 entries in 11 events.

COLLEGE STATION – Entries announced for the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, which will be hosted by Texas A&M on March 9-10, include 16 Aggies among 15 entries in 11 events.
 
Texas A&M men, ranked No. 6 nationally, will have seven entries in five events while the Aggie women, ranked No. 10 nationally, will have eight entries in six events.
 
Entries in the men's field for Texas A&M include Robert Grant and Mylik Kerley in the 400m, Devin Dixon in the 800m, the combo of Jacob Wooten and Audie Wyatt in the pole vault, Will Williams in the long jump, and the Aggie 4x400 relay.
 
Entries for the Texas A&M women include Danyel White in the 200m, the duo of Jazmine Fray and Sammy Watson in the 800m, the tandem of Lajarvia Brown and Ciynamon Stevenson in the triple jump, Alison Ondrusek in the weight throw, Tyra Gittens in the pentathlon, and a 4x400 relay.
 
Members of the men's relay include Ilolo Izu, Grant, Dixon, and Kerley with Bryce Deadmon as an alternate. The women's relay includes White, Glorilisha Carter, Julia Madubuike and Fray with Jarra Owens as an alternate.
