COLLEGE STATION, Texas – One of the premier events of the collegiate golf season returns to Aggieland this weekend when Texas A&M hosts a loaded field for the 2018 Aggie Invitational at Traditions Golf Course.
Admission is free for fans as the tournament begins with 36 holes on Saturday before concluding with a final round of 18 holes on Sunday morning. Each round is slated to begin at 7:30 a.m.

"It's been a fun season," Head Coach J.T. Higgins said of Texas A&M's success. "Five wins, a school record, and the guys have played great and shown up every week. Pretty much every tournament we've been in the final group on the final day with a chance to win. Those are the things we aim for right from the start and we've been able to accomplish them."
Along with Erickson, the Texas A&M five-man lineup at this weekend's Aggie Invitational includes All-American Chandler Phillips, who sits one trophy away from breaking the school record for career tournament titles, senior Andrew Paysse and sophomores Josh Gliege and Brandon Smith. Additionally, Texas A&M will see four golfers compete in the field as individuals – Kavan Eunak, Walker Lee, Max Miller and Reese Ramsey.

On the season, Texas A&M has won a program-record five events and has placed in the top three of the team standings during eight of nine tournaments.
