COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M softball team makes its 17th-consecutive appearance in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship as the Aggies were selected to host the College Station Regional as the nation's No. 15 seed, the NCAA Division I Softball Committee announced Sunday.

Texas A&M (40-16) faces Prairie View A&M (20-21) on Friday at 6 p.m. on Watch ESPN, while Baylor (36-16) squares off against McNeese (40-19) at 3:30 p.m. on Watch ESPN.

Tickets can be purchased by phone at 888-992-4443, online at 12thman.com/tickets or in person from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kyle Field Box Office located on the north end of the stadium. The Davis Diamond box office will open at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 18 and one hour prior to the first game of the day on both Saturday and Sunday.

The Aggies are making their 29th appearance in at the NCAA Championships and hold an 82-63 record all-time. Under head coach Jo Evans, the Aggies have appeared in the tournament 19 times.
