The Aggies are under the direction of first-year head coach Laura "Bird" Kuhn, a former American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Assistant Coach of the Year at Kansas. The Aggies prepared for the season with a tour of Europe this spring, playing seven matches against strong competition.

During the 2018 regular season, the Aggies host Pepperdine (Sept. 6), Nicholls (Sept. 7), Missouri State (Sept. 7), Arkansas (Sept. 19), Georgia (Sept. 23), Auburn (Oct. 12), Tennessee (Oct. 19), Kentucky (Oct. 21), Alabama (Oct. 26), South Carolina (Nov. 9), Ole Miss (Nov. 11) and LSU (Nov. 23).
