Five Texas A&M volleyball matches to be televised on SEC Network, ESPNU

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M is slated to have five of its volleyball matches nationally televised on either SEC Network or ESPNU, the Southeastern Conference announced today while revealing the league's volleyball and soccer broadcast schedules for the upcoming season.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M is slated to have five of its volleyball matches nationally televised on either SEC Network or ESPNU, the Southeastern Conference announced today while revealing the league's volleyball and soccer broadcast schedules for the upcoming season.
 
A total of 42 matches involving SEC volleyball teams will be broadcast as part of the league's SEC Network/ESPNU package.
 
In addition, all Texas A&M regular-season home matches and most of the Aggies' SEC road matches not selected for a linear broadcast will be available on SEC Network +.
 
The Aggies, under the direction of first-year head coach Laura "Bird" Kuhn, first take the national stage Wednesday, Sept. 19 as their SEC season opener against Arkansas will be broadcast live from Reed Arena on SEC Network starting at 7 p.m. Texas A&M's matches at defending SEC co-champion and NCAA finalist Florida (Oct. 5) and at Auburn (Oct. 31) also will be broadcast on SEC Network, while the Aggies' match at Tennessee on Nov. 4 will be carried on ESPNU.
 
In addition, the Aggies' home match-up against defending NIVC champion Ole Miss on Nov. 11 will be televised on SEC Network.
 
The Aggies are currently participating in preseason training and will play host to TCU in an exhibition match at Reed Arena on Saturday. First serve is at 1 p.m., and admission is free.
 
Several in-match promotions will be taking place during the exhibition, including Rudy's BBQ blindfold crawl, wobble for Whataburger Lucky Row and the CC Creations T-shirt toss for every ace served by the Aggies. In addition, Hullabaloo Band will be performing.
 
Texas A&M opens the regular season against Ohio University on August 24 at the Sports Imports D.C. Koehl Classic in Columbus, Ohio. The Aggies make their official Reed Arena season debut on Thursday, Sept. 6, as they host the two-day Texas A&M Invitational.
