HONOLULU – The Texas A&M Aggies have their game times and opponents for the 19th annual Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic at Minute Maid Park. The Aggies are one of six teams featured at the three-day, nine-game tournament from March 1-3, 2019.

Texas A&M faces the Baylor Bears, TCU Horned Frogs and Houston Cougars at the tournament. The other two teams at the all-Texas affair include Rice Owls and Texas State Bobcats. The last time the Aggies participated at the Classic, in 2017, it was an SEC vs. Big 12 format.

The Maroon & White will play in the 7 p.m. feature presentation on both Friday and Saturday against Baylor and TCU, respectively. They cap off the tournament Sunday with a 3 p.m. game vs. Houston.

Texas A&M and Baylor have met three times over the last two seasons, with the Bears winning a matchup at the 2017 Shriners Classic with a walk-off home run and Texas A&M exacting revenge with victories at the 2017 Houston Regional and the 2018 Frisco College Classic.

The Aggies and Horned Frogs played a 15-inning affair at the 2017 Shriners Classic with TCU winning 11-10.

The last time Texas A&M played Houston, the Maroon & White were victorious 4-3 to claim the title at the 2017 Houston Regional.

This year marks the fourth straight year that the tournament will carry the name the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic, which was set forth by a multi-year naming rights agreement between the Astros Foundation and Shriners Hospitals for Children. The Astros Foundation will continue to operate the tournament and will donate $1 from the sale of each ticket directly to Shriners Hospitals as well as provide other fundraising and awareness opportunities.
