Trio of Aggies to Feature in US Open

NEW YORK CITY, New York – Texas A&M men's tennis will have three players participate in the US Open Doubles Draw for the first time in program history. The All-American trio of Austin Krajicek, Jackson Withrow and Patrick Kypson are set to participate in the fourth and final Grand Slam tournament of the 2018 season.

NEW YORK CITY, New York – Texas A&M men's tennis will have three players participate in the US Open Doubles Draw for the first time in program history. The All-American trio of Austin Krajicek, Jackson Withrow and Patrick Kypson are set to participate in the fourth and final Grand Slam tournament of the 2018 season.
 
The 2018 US Open is set to begin Wednesday at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City, New York. The 2018 tournament is the eighth US Open appearance for Krajicek, third for Withrow and second for Kypson.
 
Krajicek and partner, Tennys Sandgren, are set to take on Yoni Erlich and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi in the first round while Jackson Withrow and Matthew Ebden will face off against Filip Krajinovic and Viktor Troicki in the round of 64.
 
Kypson earned a wildcard into the field by winning the Kalamazoo doubles championship last month in Michigan. The 2018 All-American is set to play alongside Danny Thomas against last season's US Open runner-up and 10th seeded Feliciano Lopez and Marc Lopez.
