COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M Aggies released the dates of five premier midweek games for the 2019 campaign.

The batch of games include a home game against the Rice Owls and road contests vs. the Dallas Baptist Patriots, Texas Longhorns, Houston Cougars and Sam Houston State Bearkats.

The list includes the continuation of three of Texas A&M's five most-played rivalries. Texas leads the list with 371 meetings against the Aggies. Rice ranks fourth with 281 games vs. the Maroon & White and Houston comes in fifth with 170 meetings. The Aggies will play the second and third teams on the list, Baylor and TCU, respectively, at the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic at Minute Maid Park.

On March 12, the Aggies make their first-ever trip to Horner Ballpark to play Dallas Baptist. The Patriots have emerged as a perennial Missouri Valley Conference power, making eight NCAA Regional appearances in the last 11 years.

Rice travels to Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park on March 19. It will mark the first visit by the Owls under new head coach Matt Bragga.

Texas A&M heads to Austin to play Texas on April 2. Since the teams started playing one midweek game a season in 2016, all three contests have been decided by one run with the Aggies winning two of the three contests.

On April 16, the Maroon & White return to the site of their 2016 NCAA Regional title when they head to Schroeder Park to play Houston. Texas A&M also plays the Cougars at the Shriners College Classic on March 3.

The Aggies take their shortest road trip on April 30 when they head to Huntsville to play Sam Houston State. Since 2012, the Bearkats have ushered in an era of dominance in the Southland Conference, winning five of the last seven regular-season titles.

Texas A&M finished the 2018 campaign with a 40-22 mark, making their 34th NCAA Championship appearance overall and their 12th in a row. The Aggies' return 17 letterwinners and six starting position players for the 2019 season.
