Joining Texas A&M in the eight-team field are hosts-Michigan, Iowa State, Ohio State, Oregon, Oregon State, UC Davis and Wisconsin. After 36 holes of stroke play on Sunday, the teams are divided into two brackets for two rounds of match play, with one round each on Monday and Tuesday. In addition, eight individuals compete in a separate match play tournament on the par 72 / 6,292 yard course.

Courtney Dow, Amber Park, Ava Schwienteck, Elizabeth Caldarelli and Brooke Tyree comprise A&M's lineup, and Chloe Velasco is competing as an individual. Dow, a junior, ranks fifth in Texas A&M history with a 74.21 career stroke average, while Park's 96 birdies in 2017-18 ranked second among SEC freshmen. Caldarelli returns for her sophomore season after playing in 28 rounds in 2017-18, and  Velasco competes as an individual, after being named to the SEC Community Service Team in 2018.

Making their Texas A&M debuts in this tournament are Schwienteck, a sophomore transfer who led UT Arlington with a 75.70 stroke average a year ago, and Tyree, a freshman who was the top-ranked recruit in the 2018 class from the state Louisiana.

This is the first tournament for Texas A&M under the direction of three-time National Coach of the Year Andrea Gaston, who comes to Aggieland after leading USC to three national championships. Gaston led the Trojans to a top-five finish at the NCAA Championships in each of the past 13 seasons.

Texas A&M tees off in the tournament starting at 8 a.m. CT Sunday. Live scoring for the event is available on golfstat.com, and updates will be available on twitter at @AggieWomensGolf.
