COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 2 Texas A&M Aggies attempt to tie the SEC record for the longest unbeaten string Thursday when they travel to Fayetteville to play the Arkansas Razorbacks. The 6 p.m. match will air on the SEC Network with Jenn Hildreth handling the play-by-play and Jill Loyden offering the color analysis.
Texas A&M boasts a school-record 25-match unbeaten streak with their last loss coming at Auburn (0-1) on September 15, 2017. The run is one game shy of the SEC record set by Florida in 1998-99.
With a victory, the Aggies would be the first team in the nation with 11 wins in 2018. Entering Thursday's match, the Maroon & White are one of five teams with a perfect record, joined by Auburn (9-0-0), Boston College (8-0-0), Washington State (7-0-0) and Virginia (7-0-0).
At 10-0-0, the Aggies look to extend their school-record best win streak to start the season. The 10-match win streak also ranks fourth on A&M's all-time list.

The school record for a conference win streak is 14 games in Big 12 action between Oct. 4, 1996 and Oct. 10, 1997. The Maroon & White are 8-1-0 all-time against the Razorbacks. Texas A&M's first-ever match was against Arkansas, a 2-1 overtime loss in Plano, Texas, on September 6, 1993. The Maroon & White responded with wins in Dallas in 1994 (3-1) and Plano in 1995 (8-3). Since joining the SEC, the Aggies are 5-0-0 against the Razorbacks.

Emily Bates scored the go-ahead goal in the 88th minute to lift the Maroon & White to their third title. Texas A&M won the regular-season meeting, 2-1, in College Station on September 29. Ally Watt scored in the first three minutes of each half to give the Maroon & White a 2-0 lead. Arkansas trimmed the lead to one goal in the 71st minute with a goal by Katie Kienstra.
