TULSA, Oklahoma –Texas A&M Men's Tennis officially begins the 2018-19 season at the ITA Men's All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Six Aggies take the courts Saturday in the pre-qualifying draw Round of 256 with the second round to follow later in the day, the draw is scheduled to conclude Sunday.

Senior Kevin Lam will take on Brady Draheim of Oklahoma State at 10:00 a.m. while freshmen Guido Marson, Alex Vedri, Austin Abbrat, Jack Pulliam and Noah Schachter will represent the Aggies for the first time on the national stage. Marson faces off against Hao Sheng Koay of Buffalo at 12:30 p.m., Vedri competes against Paolo Cucalon of Temple at 1:30 p.m., Abbrat takes on Enrique Luque Rico of Pepperdine at 8:00 a.m., Pulliam squares off against Rana-Roop Singh Bullar of Florida State at 11:00 a.m. and Schachter opposes Bradley Frye of Southern Cal at 1:00 p.m.

The University of Tulsa is hosting the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championship for the 13th straight season, with matches taking place on the courts of the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. Qualifying singles and doubles will be held October 1-2, with main draw matches transpiring October 4-8.

In addition to vying for the All-American national title, players will be competing to secure a berth into the 2018 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, which takes place November 7-11, in Surprise, Arizona. Singles quarterfinalists, consolation singles champion and finalist, along with doubles semifinalists and consolation doubles champion and finalist advance to the end of fall national championship.
