On the team's performance…
"I was really proud of our team, for us finishing up our second week of fall practice, to come out and throw it over the plate for the most part and play flawless defense for 12 innings. I couldn't be more proud of that. Offensively, I thought early in the game we did a nice job for the first six innings. We split the game in two, so we played with pressure in the last six innings. We made some pitches to get off the field there in the 11th with Kyle Richardson getting a pop-up and a ground ball with a runner at third and a chance to tie the second half of the game. I am proud of our team and we took care of the routine."
