COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M sophomore Addie McCain was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week following the Aggies' wins against Auburn (4-2) and at Kentucky (4-1).
In both the matches, McCain notched one goal and one assist as the Aggies improved to 13-1-1 overall and 4-1-1 in the SEC. This season, McCain has 13 points on five goals and three assists.
McCain has 21 points for her career on six goals and nine assists. She tallied eight points on one goal and six assists as a rookie in 2017.
It marked the second time McCain earned TDS National Team of the Week recognition in 2018. She also earned the honor on September 18. The Aggies have had a player recognized on TDS National Teams of the Week six times this season with Ally Watt getting tabbed an honorable mention after the first two weekends of the season, Grace Piper earning a spot in week 3 and Ásdis Halldórsdóttir picking up honorable mention last week.
Texas A&M returns to action Friday when they host the Mississippi State Bulldogs for a 7:30 p.m. match at Ellis Field.
