COLUMBUS, Ohio- The No. 5 Texas A&M women's swimming and diving team opens the 2018-19 dual meet season at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion Friday and Saturday, taking on No. 8 Louisville and No. 17 Ohio State.

The Aggies are coming off of a spectacular 2017-18 campaign, which featured a 7-1 record in dual meets, a third-place finish at the NCAA Championship and the program's third consecutive SEC Championship. Texas A&M returns six swimmers who earned All-America honors in 2018—Anna Belousova, Sydney Pickrem, Taylor Pike, Katie Portz, Jing Wen Quah and Claire Rasmus.

Ohio State opened their season September 27 with a 181-119 win over Alabama. The Buckeyes return 11 NCAA qualifiers to a team that finished 13th at the 2018 NCAA Championship.

The Cardinals defeated Xavier 185-73 on Oct. 6 in their season-opening meet. Louisville, who finished fifth at last season's NCAA Championship, return the 2018 NCAA Champion in the 200 free, Mallory Comerford.
