COLLEGE STATION – The No. 2 Texas A&M Equestrian team returns to the Hildebrand Equine Complex for an 11 a.m. meet Friday against No. 10 Fresno State.

"We are ecstatic to finally host another home meet," head coach Tana McKay said. "With the off week last weekend, we were able to rest a little bit after two very competitive meets, and it allowed us to work on some of the mistakes we've made. The girls worked hard in practice and I am looking forward to competing against another tough team in Fresno State."

The Aggies (3-0, 1-0 SEC) are coming off a 9-8 victory against then-No.8 South Carolina on Oct. 12. Against the Gamecocks, Rebekah Chenelle (Equitation over Fences) and Caroline Boyle (Equitation on the Flat) swept Most Outstanding Player (MOP) honors in the Hunter Seat arena as Ashley Davidson was named MOP in Horsemanship.

On the season, Chenelle is a perfect 3-0 in both Fences and Flat while Caroline Dance and Rhian Murphy have added two wins in Flat. In Fences, Dance holds a 2-0-1 ledger, and Grace Boston is 2-1. A trio of Aggies in Alex Albright, Davidson and Sarah Orsak lead Texas A&M in Horsemanship with a pair of wins.

Texas A&M and Fresno State squared off twice last season with the Aggies winning in Fresno, California, 14-5, and in College Station, 12-6. Friday's matchup is the 11th meet in series history, as Texas A&M leads the series with a 10-0 record.
