COLLEGE STATION, Texas – No. 12 Texas A&M Men's Swimming and Diving will host five teams for the annual Art Adamson Invitational, which will be contested Wednesday through Friday at the Student Recreation Natatorium. The three-day meet will feature swimming prelims beginning at 10 a.m. and evening finals at 6 p.m. each day.

About Art Adamson:
Art Adamson was one of the longest tenured coaches in Texas A&M athletics history, coaching the Aggies more than 35 years from 1934 to 1970. During his time at Texas A&M, Adamson coached All-Americans and Olympians, while leading the Aggies to multiple conference team championships. He was inducted in the Texas A&M Athletics Hall of Fame in 1970, as well as the USA Water Polo Hall of Fame and the Texas Swimming Hall of Fame.
The Field:
- Air Force (2-3) is coming off a dual meet loss against Grand Canyon University 100-143.
- Hawaii (1-0) is coming off a win in the Road Runner Invite at California State Bakersfield.
- Louisiana State (4-2) is coming off a win against Loyola at home (234-41).
- Southern Methodist (1-1) is coming off a win against Texas Christian (204-181).
- Incarnate Word (2-0) is coming off a win against Trinity (242-55)
- The No. 11 Aggies (1-3) fell last week in a 180-113 loss at Texas. Junior team captain Benjamin Walker earned a victory in the 200 yard breaststroke (1:58.02), and while also placing second in the 100 yard breaststroke (54.20). Junior Adam Koster came away victorious in the 50 yard freestyle (20.04). Freshman Shaine Casas placed second in the 200 yard IM, and third in the 100 yard backstroke (48.11).
