COLLEGE STATION – The No. 3 Texas A&M equestrian team closes out the fall portion of the schedule with an 11 a.m. meet Friday against No. 9 Georgia at the Hildebrand Equine Complex.

Admission to the meet is free, and the first 100 fans receive a Texas A&M equestrian horse stress ball.

The Aggies (4-1, 1-1 SEC) are coming off a 14-5 defeat at No. 1 Auburn on Nov. 2. Against the Tigers, Marissa Harrell led the Reining squad to a 3-2 victory as she garnered Most Outstanding Player (MOP) honors after defeating Betsy Brown, 74.5-73.5.

On the season, Rebekah Chenelle and Rhian Murphy lead Texas A&M in Equitation on the Flat with a 4-1 record. Chenelle has posted four wins in Equitation over Fences as Caroline Dance is 3-1-1 and Grace Boston has added two victories.

In Horsemanship, Sarah Orsak leads the Maroon & White with a 4-0-1 ledger. Alex Albright and Ashley Davidson each hold a 3-1-1 record.

Harrell is a perfect 3-0 in Reining and is co-leading the group with Darby Gardner (3-2) and Courtney Yohey (3-1-1).

Georgia enters the meet with a 1-3 (0-2 SEC) record and are coming off an 11-6 loss at home to Auburn. Last season, the two teams squared off three times with the Bulldogs prevailing in each meet.
