Post Match Quotes
Texas A&M Head Coach Steve Denton
On 4-0 win today …
"I thought our guys had a little bit of jitters coming out for the first NCAA match, which is a bit understandable. After we got a little bit of the match in our system, the guys started to play well, I thought we played pretty solid in the doubles. We took care of that and then obviously pleased with our guys down at the back, really jumping on their guys and winning it convincingly, that certainly took the pressure off the rest of the guys. Everybody could kind of relax and play tennis."
On his message to the team for tomorrow's match …
"We are very familiar with Baylor obviously, they beat us a couple of times last year and I know our guys are excited for this opportunity. We have played the whole year to get to this point, to be able to host here and I know it is going to be a really tough match. Baylor is playing their best tennis at the end of this season, and I feel like we are playing very well as well, so it going to a high quality tennis match and we are looking forward to it."
