COLLEGE STATION, Texas --- The No. 9 Texas A&M women's swimming and diving team will celebrate its 2019 senior class when the Aggies host Houston and SEC rival Vanderbilt on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Rec Center Natatorium.
The meet will be streamed online on SEC Network +, which provides events to SEC Network subscribers through WatchESPN and the ESPN app on smartphones, computers, tablets and other connected devices (Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 and Xbox One).
Of the seniors, head coach Steve Bultman said, "It seems like we were just recruiting and now they are almost done. It's a good group that has definitely contributed to our success. All they've done is won three conference championships and, it will be a battle, but they have a shot at winning a fourth. They've definitely stepped up."

Notables:
- The women will be hosting Senior Day for the seven-member Senior Class for 2019, which will be honored prior to the competition. Being honored are: Alexandra Buscher (Houston, Texas), McKenna DeBever (Denver, Colo.), Tiffany Futscher (Irving, Texas), Monika Gonzalez-Hermosillo (Mexico City, Mexico), Alaïs Kalonji (Rennes, France), Sydney Pickrem (Dunedin, Fla.), and Claire Rasmus (New Orleans, La.).
- Rasmus is the reigning SEC Co-Swimmer of the Week after standout performances at the Longhorn Long Course Invite and the Aggies' dual meet win over LSU last week. Rasmus tallied U.S. Olympic Team Trials cuts in the 100 and 200 freestyle in Austin and then swept the same two races vs. the Tigers.
- Vanderbilt is coming off a 148-113 win against Marshall. The Commodores were led by senior Johanna Goldblatt, who dominated in the pool with a time of 56.92 for first place in the 100 backstroke.
- Houston is coming off a 193-107 loss against Arkansas. The Cougars were led by sophomore transfer Joanna Sacha, who made her Houston debut by posting the seventh-fastest time in program history in the 200 backstroke. Several Cougars posted lifetime best, including Shayla Erickson who finished third in the 1000 Freestyle at 10:21.46.
- The Aggies are coming off a 172-121 win over SEC rival LSU, capturing 13 of 16 races and sweeping the top three spots in five races. Texas A&M was led by senior captains Claire Rasmus and Sydney Pickrem, who both tallied a pair of race victories. Rasmus was victorious in the 200-yard freestyle (1:47.99), and the 100-yard freestyle (50.30), while Pickrem posted wins in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.56), and the 200-yard backstroke (1:57.61).
